Member Rules & Guidelines
Encouraged Activities
1. Daylight access to the farm for visiting, touring, and harvesting crops labeled as "ready to harvest" by posted signs and/or as listed on the availability map.
2. “Polite loitering,” bringing and visiting with friends, family, and neighbors.
3. Reserving space for private events with friends, family, community-based groups, and small businesses, as outlined in the Back To The Garden Jax Events Agreement.
4. Actively offering feedback, suggestions, joining hands and lending support for the continual improvement of Back To The Garden Jax operations.
5. Meeting neighbors, sharing recipes, teaching & caring for others’ children as if they were your own, building community.
Prohibited Activities
1. Pets within reach of growing groceries (for food safety reasons).
2. Harvesting crops not posted for harvest.
3. Taking other items from the garden (e.g., seedlings, fertilizer, soil mix, tools) without explicit permission.
4. Destruction of property.
5. Harassment of others at the garden.
6. Visits after dark (except for planned events).
7. Illegal activities.
